Ability to Maintain a Constant Internal State
Living organisms also must contain the ability to maintain a constant internal state. Like humans, bears are able to maintain a safe body temperature with the use of their fur. The length of this coat allows for the Sun Bear to remain comfortable in the hot tropical climate of South Asia. Another example of this organism's ability to remain stable has to do with the cells. This ties into a piece of evidence that was brought up earlier. It has to do with the Sun Bear’s red blood cell examinations. This cells showed a excellent example of how the bear’s body is able to maintain a constant internal state. The cells of four Sun Bears that were tested all showed that none of them contained blood parasites. The body of the Sun Bear has the ability keep its body from being susceptible to this condition.
