Growth and Development
All living organisms have the ability to grow and develop. Sun Bears, like all animals, exhibits this trait too. A prime example of this is the the growth and development of the size and overall condition of the bear from birth. When born, the Malayan Sun Bear weighs only around 11 ounces, and are blind and hairless. When the bears are fully grown, they are grown to about 150 pounds, gained their ability to see, and have grown a short, black, coarse fur. It’s obvious just to see by appearance that the Sun Bear is capable of growing and developing. These bears also have a recorded life span of 15 to 30 years. During these years, the bears continue to grow. They are constantly growing older and older by each day.
